About Riikka
Hi! I’m Riikka, a 40-year-old Finn who has left Finland to live and experience the outside world.
So far in my adult life I’ve spent extended periods around Europe, living or studying in countries like Scotland (longest, 6 years!), Sweden, Slovenia and Latvia. My dream is to one day also explore East and South-East Asia, but so far I’ve been stuck in the EU.
I travel to get to know different cultures and places, and I like to stay in one place for at least a month, to really get a feel for the place. I like it best when I find a nice base where I can make excursions out of, like I’ve been most recently doing from Riga, Latvia!
